Homewood-Flossmoor High School Foundation
The Homewood-Flossmoor High School Foundation was founded in 1982 to provide a means for alumni, parents, faculty and community members to support the continued excellence for H-F students. The Foundation is privileged to support the staff and students of an amazing, 3-time winner, Blue Ribbon High School.
The Foundation’s main priority is providing funds for grants that allow teachers to bring new ideas to the classroom, as well as, bestow scholarships for students to further their education. The Foundation sponsors many grant programs for H-F students, including the Viking Choir, DECA Club, Special Olympics, Rachel’s Challenge, Forensic Science, Career Fair and many others.
The Foundation also acts as a resource for Alumni. We are always looking for more great ideas to support H-F students, and volunteers to help us grow.
We invite you to support the Foundation by attending our annual golf outing, purchase an engraved brick or school calendar, join us at our Motown concert, volunteer, or make a tax deductible donation.
On behalf of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, students, faculty, and administration of Homewood-Flossmoor, we’d like to thank you for your support.
Homewood-Flossmoor High School Foundation Fundraisers
The Homewood-Flossmoor High School Foundation holds fundraising events yearly. Our Annual Golf Outing and Dinner is on Friday, September 16th at Glenwoodie Golf Club. We will be golfing, dining and dancing at Glenwoodie Golf Club. Grab your friends, clients and business associates for a day of golf with fellow alumni and community members.
Homewood-Flossmoor High School Parents Association
The Homewood-Flossmoor Parents Association (HFPA) is dedicated to assisting and enriching communications with H-F families, staff, administration and community for the overall success of the H-F student body. We collect money annually for the HFPA Scholarship Fund through donations from parents, guardians and businesses. HFPA awards scholarships every year to deserving students to further their education.
Homewood-Flossmoor High School
Homewood-Flossmoor High School serves nearly 3,000 students from the communities of Homewood, Flossmoor, Chicago Heights, Glenwood, Hazel Crest and Olympia Fields. Homewood and Flossmoor, where generations of the same family often live within blocks of one another, create a sense of heritage and community that reflects in the high school being a center of public pride. A tradition of excellence is the cornerstone of Homewood-Flossmoor: the result of commitment on the part of district residents to the idea of a community high school with high standards for students and staff, and a solid goal of excellence in education.
Homewood-Flossmoor High School Foundation works to enhance the school experience by funding programs to help students maintain the competitive edge inside and outside the classroom. The Foundation provides grants to staff and students at H-F, and distributes scholarships to students who wish to further their education.
